Local produce, vegetable plants, herbs, and a CSA program
The flame we must sustain.
The flame we must sustain.
Amy opened the business after graduating from Algonquin College Horticulture industries in 2018. With most of her life in the garden, she wanted to bring back the importance of local agriculture and variety to the community. With her families help, she opened Green Flame Gardens with the drive to bring familiar and ethnic plant and produce to Kemptville and surrounding areas. Every year we find new ways of becoming more sustainable and efficient.
With a modestly sized greenhouse Green Flame Garden invites you to visit during the season to find familiar and maybe new plants for your own garden. We carry 115 different varieties of plants (linked above). The greenhouse is located right beside our home so our plants get the best care. We do not use any pesticides on our plants either.
For 2024 we will be attending the Kemptville Farmers' Market (https://www.kemptvillefarmersmarket.ca/on) Sundays Noon to 4pm and the Manotick Farmers Market (https://www.facebook.com/ManotickFarmersMarket), on Saturdays.
